In October of 2019, Reach set out to revolutionize the blockchain space. Today, at 1,000 developers strong, we can confidently say: so far, so good! With $12 million in seed round funding under our belts and partnerships with pioneering networks like Algorand, we’re advancing towards our goal faster than ever before!

Where We’re Heading

Just as Apple’s iOS sparked the proliferation of mobile apps, Reach hopes to usher in a new era of blockchain-based applications. We want to make it easy to safely build blockchain applications in a fraction of the time, regardless of skills and experience. This funding fuels our growth which…

Monthly Update

Product

  • We’re completely redoing how the Reach script works, adding more functionality with how people install and compile applications. We want to allow people to set defaults as far as where they want to compile and provide a better user experience.
  • We’ve reduced the Docker image size by about 65%.
  • We’ve hardcoded in AlgoSigner.
  • Instead of dictating which wallets our users use, we created a web interface standard which allows developers to use any wallet in Reach.
  • We’ve done a lot of work on our existing documentation.
  • Conflux integration is complete! All Reach applications now launch on Conflux with a…

Monthly Update

Product

  • You can now mint tokens on both Ethereum and Algorand from within a contract.
  • You can now cache network queries.
  • You can now set timeouts in real time (e.g. “I’m going to send Michael ten ALGO and if he doesn’t withdraw it in two days, it will return back to me”).
  • The Algorand Virtual Machine has been updated to version 0.9. You can now compile all the new features of version 0.9 in Reach.
  • Improvements to contract verification; making sure the contract you’re the interface you’re communicating with is the one you want to communicate with.
  • Reach can now…
